I am coming to realize that even being centered and calm is very hard work. A friend of mind likes to quote another friend by saying “Positivity is hard work.” Here is my quote “anything worthwhile is hard work”. Anything that has been very meaningful in my life has been hard work. Ice hockey: “you can do this, you can do this even though you don’t like it.” Reading has given me access to ideas that might not have been available otherwise. And these things are done despite myself. Is being positive for oneself or others.
